Alkaline water is the term that is used to describe the
water that is obtained from a natural source. All natural water contains H20
molecules and OH negative and OH positive ions in small levels. It is these
ions that change the water to be classified as acidic or alkaline. When the
ions are equal in number then the the water is considered to be neutral and
when the OH positive ions are more in number than the OH negative ions then
this would be classified to be acidic in nature.
